Business Growth Event – Micro and Small Businesses

What Do You Need To Grow Your Business?

There is a comprehensive range of business support available via the D2N2 Growth Hub and its website, specifically aimed at micro, small and medium sized businesses across our area.

Best of all, as the Growth Hub is developed, you get to have your say on its content and how well, or otherwise, you think that support is being promoted.

Pop in to Southwell Library and chat with us from 4pm on Thursday 27th October 2016 and have you say directly with representatives of the Growth Hub and Notts County Council on what help would really make a difference. Refreshments and nibbles provided in return for critical friends!

Southwell Business Club invites you to a pop-in event for Southwell based businesses, designed to offer you the opportunity to find out more about the support and services offered by the Growth Hub and have your say on what they do and how they could help you more.

The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership receives funding from Government and Europe in order to provide business support and access to finance for local businesses; it does this via the D2N2 Growth Hub. Through the County Council and the Nottinghamshire Business Engagement Group, we are keen to let Southwell business know what’s available to them and how they can get involved.

We want to hear from micro and small business in particular as to how the Growth Hub can help you sustain and grow your business and thanks to the Southwell Business Club and fellow business organisations; we are coming to talk with you on the 27th October.

Although it is a pop-in event between 4 and 7pm, there will a brief presentation on the Growth Hub at 6pm outlining the expanded service and the support specifically available as a consequence of additional funding from the EU and Nottinghamshire County Council. Southwell Business Club, the D2N2 Growth Hub and Nottinghamshire CC will speak at the event.

Your feedback is vital so if you can, have a look at www.d2n2growthhub.co.uk in advance; the team is really interested to hear your opinions on the site.

Southwell Business Club is represented on the Nottinghamshire-wide Nottinghamshire Business Engagement Group and they have set out their ambition to ensure that the voice of micro and small businesses are heard and reflected in the services available via the Growth Hub. It is vital that the Growth Hub listens to the views of local businesses and the Growth Hub, together with Nottinghamshire County Council, is keen to learn more.

We welcome happy and critical friends so come along, have a look and give us your thoughts on Thursday 27th October, between 4pm and 7pm at Southwell Library.
